Disclosure: This is a paid collaboration with Funky Pigeon.
I can’t believe Christmas is a matter of weeks away. There’s still so much to sort out. Working out where in our labyrinthine loft the decorations are, getting all the right food and the small matter of Christmas presents!
As usual, I’m pretty badly prepared. So it’s just as well that Funky Pigeon got in touch with some suggestions for gifts and stocking fillers including their extensive range of personalised gifts.
Here are the ones I selected.
Full Photo Upload Family Snow Globe
Despite the fact that our phones are crammed with pictures of the kids, we don’t have enough family photos on display, so I had to choose this family photo snow globe.
The photo we put in it was taken while taking shelter from the rain so it seemed somewhat appropriate to surround it with wintry weather!
Racing poos
A classic example of a simple gift that keeps on giving, now. All three of my kids save their warmest laughs for toilet humour so these racing poos will be top of the plops. Sorry, not sorry.
Wind them up and watch them go. And by ‘them’ I mean both the toys and my children.
Comic Book Speech Bubble Name Keyring
Oldest is well into comic book characters at the moment so this personalised keyring will make a nice little stocking filler.
We’re not quite ready to give him house keys yet but it’ll make a cool addition to his school bag in the meantime.
BRIGHT-i beanie
One thing I’m not enjoying about working for someone other than myself is coming home in the dark and cold. This beanie answers both problems. Actually, it’ll be quite useful when searching the loft for the Christmas decorations too!
It’s cosy and looks the part. What’s more, it has a USB-chargeable LED light with three levels of brightness and four-hour battery life. A practical gift unashamedly from me to me.
Personalised T-shirt
Youngest absolutely loved wearing her elf costume last Christmas. And the one before, for that matter. She was gutted when we told her it wouldn’t fit anymore, so this T-shirt is just the job.
It’s personalised too so she’ll wear it with pride. The only challenge will be getting her to take it off to wash it now and then!
Personalised notebook
The seven-year-old absolutely loves drawing and is always asking for sketch pads to create characters and comics with. So I thought a personalised notebook would make a nice gift.
He tends to draw favourites more than once, so can use this as an anthology of his best ones.
Funky Pigeon discount code alert!
These are just a few of the many fun and functional Christmas gifts Funky Pigeon has to offer. It’s well worth giving their range a look – particularly as there’s a discount code available.
Quote TOM20 to get 20% off T-shirts, keyrings, snow globes and notebooks until 23 December.
Now, with all this sorted, it’s time I donned my new hat and ventured up to the loft…

Some fantastic choices as Christmas stockings I will definitely be checking out that beanie. Great list
