Review: Britax Römer B-AGILE 3 stroller

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I do like reviewing pushchairs! That’s a good thing really as I’m pleased to announce that I’m a member of the Britax Ambassador Panel this year!

I’m looking forward to testing products from the range and sharing my thoughts on them here. So, starting as I mean to go on, let’s have a look at the Britax Römer B-AGILE 3 stroller.

Having had more pushchairs than hot cups of tea since becoming a parent, I know the features I want to see in a new one. And there’s a lot to like about the B-AGILE 3.

Safety and comfort are obviously the most important of these considerations and it didn’t disappoint. It has a five-point harness and easily adjusts from fully reclined to a sitting position.

Youngest certainly seemed happy enough sitting in it. Indeed, she looked very pleased with herself!

It has been made of good-quality materials and took me no time at all to assemble; everything fitted perfectly in place.

The bigger children get, the better it is to have a lighter pushchair. That’s certainly true of us now; youngest is growing quickly and getting quite heavy as a result! This stroller weighs in at 7.8kg, so that’s another box ticked.

Then there are the wheels. I prefer plastic ones as there’s no faff with punctures and they’re easier to keep clean.

They’re designed mainly for urban use, but we took our pushchair for a spin to our local recreation ground and it fared just as well on grass as it did on pavements.

The other must-have feature as far as I’m concerned is one-handed folding. It makes collapsing strollers so much easier while trying to stop a toddler from wandering off!

An additional point here is its size when folded. With three kids, space is always at a premium in our house and the B-AGILE 3 is nice and compact at 30 x 71cm when collapsed.

It’s easy to steer, even with one hand, and has a decent brake. It also has a good-sized basket underneath the seat.

In addition, there’s a range of compatible baby seats and carrycots available for younger children.

To summarise, I think this is a well-thought-out stroller that has a lot of the features I look for and that should serve us well.

The Britax Römer B-AGILE 3 stroller is suitable from birth to four years or 15gk and is currently available for £161 on Amazon.
