The FIFA World Cup kicks off in just over a month, so it’s time for self-respecting fans to swot up. Thanks to the people at Carlton, we’ve got all the information we need ahead of the tournament. They sent us a bundle of their Official 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia books to read through. Here’s what each title has to offer.
2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Activity and Colouring Book
Aimed at children aged five and up, this activity book is a nice introduction to the World Cup. As well as games including a word search, maze and, of course, spot the ball, it has over 150 stickers. It’s a slim volume, but more than enough to pique the interest of new fans without overwhelming them and the activities should keep them busy for a while too!
RRP: £4.99
2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Kids’ Handbook
This will be the first World Cup that my older two kids will be truly aware of so this handbook for children aged six and up will definitely be of interest to them. It’s full of facts, player profiles and games. Also included is a complete schedule to fill in and a sheet full of stickers to use throughout the book.
RRP: £6.99
2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Fact File
I was such a little Statto as a kid. Okay, who am I kidding? I still am. My older two children definitely take after me – sorry lads – so they’ll enjoy this fact file too. Aimed at kids aged eight and up, it’s rammed with facts about everything from players and teams to stadia and how the tournament works. It also includes a fill-in schedule as well as some games to enjoy.
RRP: £8.99
2018 FIFA World Cup Russia The Official Book
And finally, something for the bigger kids among us. This official guide to the 2018 FIFA World Cup includes everything you need to know as well as in-depth analysis of the teams and star players. There are also qualifying results and tables as well as a comprehensive records section. I’m going to enjoy reading this – if the kids don’t ‘borrow’ it first!
RRP: £12.99
I think this is a great selection of books with something for football fans of all ages. I’m pleased to report that I have two bundles of these books to give away. To be in with a chance of winning, use the Rafflecopter widget below. You can use as many of the entry methods as you like. Good luck!

None as I can’t stand football! but I have a relative who loves it & this would be for them
Brazil
England – I have faith!
This brings back the memories. I remember filling in the teams using the pullout sheet and monitoring their journeys through the tournament. Well, at least until the quarters, at which point I lost interest, or maybe England made that decision for me. Can’t wait to get my daughter into all this (whether she likes it or not). Reminds me that I need to get her a strip!
I would love it to be England but think Brazil is more likely.
Germany
Brazil.

I think Germany stands a chance
Germany or Argentina – I really can’t decide!!
Probably Germany

Brazil I think!
Eng-ger-land of course
Germany! But it would be cool if it was England!
Russia – home advantage
Portugal I think. If not probably Germany. One day England might win it again.
Spain for me. Reminds me of the World Cup in 2010 when I put a £1 bet on Spain and £1 bet on Holland. The man behind the counter laughed at me, being a woman he probably thought I hadn’t a clue about football, changed his tune when I went in to collect my winnings! Especially when I went in in my Real Madrid shirt – huge Sergio Ramos fan.
England
Would be great if England could pull it out the bag!
ENGLAND!!!! ♥
