My Sunday Photo: LEGO Store London

A mural of London landmarks made entirely of LEGO.

I was lucky enough to be invited to the launch of the brand new LEGO store London this week. Very impressive it was too. There were so many things I wanted to buy! As you would expect, there were also plenty of fantastic London-centric creations on display. These included The Elizabeth Tower – I refuse to call it Big Ben; that’s the bell! – a London Underground train visitors could sit in and an iconic red phone box.

My favourite, though, was this mural that greets shoppers as they go upstairs. I love all the colours and attention to detail. I spent a fair few minutes looking at it and spotting all the landmarks. It must have taken absolutely ages to put together. A true work of art. Especially as it’s on two walls. And I thought building the LEGO Dimensions gateway was an achievement!

It’s definitely worth a visit next time you’re in the capital. When I win the lottery, I’m going back. I’ll even take the kids too!
