My Sunday Photo: Peekaboo

Amelie is now five months old and, after some early uncertainty as to whether she was more than just a novelty addition to the house, the boys seem to have accepted that she’s here to stay! We were worried about sibling rivalry creeping in, particularly with Xander who now has the potentially tough role of middle child.

As you can see though, they’ve formed a lovely bond and the wide-mouthed cackle is a familiar sight – particularly when a game of peekaboo is initiated!

In fact, Xander seems to be able to make Amelie laugh more than anyone else – result! Of course, they’ll hate each other when they reach their teenage years but that’s a long way off so we’re going to enjoy watching their happy interactions for a long while to come yet.

Ah so lovely, I love how a new addition to the family changes the dynamics but enhances family life so much, and the sound of babies laughter is just magical x

This is such a lovely moment. YOu can show this to them when they are teenagers. If they fight. Remind them how they are the best of friends =) #mysundayphoto

Good idea, Merlinda! Think I ought to stockpile pictures of all three of my kids being nice to each other for future use!
