A postcard from Ghana

A photo demonstrating Comic Relief's work in Ghana.

Unless this is the only parenting blog you read or you’re an established member of the blogosphere who happens to have given social media a miss for the past week – both highly unlikely, I know – you’ll be well aware that three parent bloggers have recently been to Ghana with Comic Relief.

Wanting to spread the word of the excellent work they’ve been to witness and not wanting others to be left out, they’ve come up with the superb idea of sending virtual postcards to anyone who asks for one.

So, without further ado, here is mine…

Hello Tom!

This morning we visited a vaccine clinic in Accra and observed mothers taking babies for their jabs. The fine lady in this photo was one of two nurses vaccinating the babies, so organised!

This is a digital postcard sent from TeamHonk (www.mammasaurus.co.uk; www.aresidence.co.uk; www.mummybarrow.com) during their travels with Comic Relief in Ghana celebrating #goodwork.

For the past 25 years the money raised through Red Nose Day has been changing the lives of the poorest and most disadvantaged people in the UK and Africa. Let’s Keep Up the Good Work. Find out how at rednoseday.com

is it too bad that even though I write and read parenting blogs I didn’t;t know about he postcards? Saw them around on different blogs but never had the time to read what it was all about. I hope when my lill guy starts to sleep again I can be the kind of more active blogger I like to be 😉
