Like a lot of people, I’m not very good at keeping up with news and am also finding that time to write this blog is hard to come by. Not today.
When I heard about the latest acts of sadistic violence in Syria and the subsequent day of action in the parent blogging community, I made time to write this post.
The situation has reached Tipping Point and, today, parent bloggers are joining their voices as one in the hope that they will be heard and that the sickening crimes against innocent civilians – many of them children – will stop.
So how can we contribute to making a difference?
If you use Twitter, spare a few seconds to tweet a message including the hashtags #TippingPoint #StopTheKilling and #Syria. The more people who do this, the more likely it is that our voices will be heard.
It may not seem a lot on an individual level, but by pulling together we could make a difference. We can’t sit back and let this happen. We have to do what we can.
Thanks for reading.
